| The Bridgend and District Association
has over 50 members with a good mix of men and women who are able to
offer help to established beekeepers and beginners at an informal meeting
once a month. In the winter we meet at the offices of Parc Slip Nature
Reserve, Tondu. In the summer we usually meet at the association apiary
or at a members apiary.
Throughout the year events are organized, we have guest speakers and practical workshops to build your equipment cheaply. There is also a shop to supply all your beekeeping needs at price that only association members can benefit from. We attend shows and exhibitions and promote beekeeping and awareness of bees to the public. If you wish to attend an association meeting
email the secretary on the contacts page for dates or read the Newsletter
on the downloads page. We will make you welcome there are lots of
beginners and experienced beekepers for you to talk to. We will do
our best to help you set up with bees and provide lessons if that
is what you want, hope to see you there. |
